Tribula is a sculptural linear ceramic chandelier designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and elongated spaces. Built from individually crafted ceramic elements, the chandelier brings the tactile character of handmade clay into a precise, architectural composition.
Its form is created from individually made, roughly triangular ceramic pieces arranged in two rhythmic layers around a structured frame. Rather than enclosing the light behind a conventional shade, TRIBULA allows illumination to emerge through the spaces between the ceramic forms.
The result is a changing interplay of warm light, shadow and geometry across the table below.
A linear chandelier designed around the table
With its elongated proportions, TRIBULA is designed to follow the length and architecture of a dining table rather than compete with it. The overlapping ceramic elements create different lines, depths and shadows as the chandelier is viewed from different angles. During the day, the repeated clay forms create a sculptural focal point; when illuminated, the spaces between them become part of the lighting experience.
Available in 39-inch and 52-inch lengths, TRIBULA can be proportioned to different dining tables, kitchen islands and interior scales.

Each ceramic element is individually crafted and assembled by hand. Slight differences in surface, proportion and form are inherent to the ceramic-making process, giving warmth and individuality to an otherwise structured geometric composition.
